Vaitea & Chris's Luxury Wedding at Euridge Manor There are some venues you see photographs of for years and quietly think, one day, I would absolutely love to photograph a wedding there. For me, Euridge Manor was one of them. Set amongst the Cotswold countryside, it's undoubtedly one of the most beautiful wedding venues I've photographed in the UK. The gardens, the house, the boathouse, the water and that iconic chandelier all give you something completely different as you move through the day. So when Vaitea and Chris asked me to photograph their wedding here, it was a genuine bucket-list moment. And somehow, the reality was even better. Their celebration actually took place over several days, beginning with their legal ceremony in London on the Thursday before everyone travelled to Euridge Manor for the welcome evening and dinner. I photographed both of these parts of their celebrations too, although those photographs are being kept private. By the time the wedding day itself arrived, everyone was already settled into Euridge and ready for what turned out to be a pretty exceptional day. Getting Ready at Euridge Manor Both Vaitea and Chris got ready on site at Euridge Manor, which meant I could photograph preparations on both sides during the morning. I always love having the opportunity to do this. Rather than only seeing one half of the story before the ceremony, the final gallery can move between both of you as the anticipation builds — friends getting ready together, final details being finished and those quieter moments before everything begins. And there were some seriously beautiful details to photograph. Including Vaitea's Fendi shoes! The interiors at Euridge are gorgeous for bridal preparations, with beautiful natural light and plenty of space, meaning the morning photographs feel like part of the wider story of the venue rather than simply somewhere to get ready. An Outdoor Wedding Ceremony Overlooking the Boathouse Vaitea and Chris chose one of Euridge Manor's most spectacular settings for their ceremony. With the boathouse, water and Cotswold countryside stretching out behind them, the view was breathtaking. But despite the incredible setting, some of my favourite parts of the ceremony had nothing to do with how it looked. Vaitea and Chris exchanged personal vows, surrounded by all the people closest to them. And then, at one point, the entire wedding joined together to sing Angels by Robbie Williams. It was brilliant. Those are the moments I love photographing most. You can plan the flowers, choose the perfect ceremony setting and create something visually incredible, but it's often the completely human moments — everyone singing together, laughing and looking around at the people beside them — that end up giving a gallery its personality. Confetti, Roses & Drinks in the Sunshine After the ceremony, everyone made their way through the grounds for drinks in the sunshine. And Euridge gave us another ridiculously beautiful setting for confetti — beneath the roses. Confetti is always one of my favourite moments to photograph because there's very little anyone can do to control it. Everyone throws, the couple walks through and for a few seconds it's complete chaos. Perfect. The rest of the drinks reception was kept relaxed, allowing Vaitea and Chris to spend time with their guests while I photographed everything happening around them. After the emotion and anticipation of the ceremony, there's always a noticeable change in atmosphere at this point. Drinks appear, everyone relaxes and the wedding suddenly feels properly underway. Wedding Portraits Around Euridge Manor From a photography perspective, Euridge Manor is extraordinary. There are so many beautiful locations that the challenge isn't finding somewhere for photographs — it's resisting the temptation to use absolutely all of them and accidentally steal the couple away for half their wedding. We kept Vaitea and Chris's portraits relaxed, using a handful of the most beautiful areas around the estate. Of course, we had to photograph them with Euridge Manor itself behind them, as well as beneath the venue's iconic outdoor chandelier. It's such a recognisable part of Euridge and creates an incredible setting for portraits. But as always, I wanted their photographs to feel like them within the venue, rather than simply working through a checklist of Euridge's most famous photo spots. A little direction, beautiful light and enough time for the two of them to actually enjoy being together was all we needed. Then it was straight back to the wedding. Dinner on the Lawn at Euridge Manor And then there was the wedding breakfast. Dinner was served outside on the lawn, surrounded by the incredible gardens and countryside. It looked absolutely stunning. Planning by Get Wed, florals by Seed & Stem Florals, catering from Reeka Events and drinks from Quench Event Bars all came together to create a celebration that felt completely at home within the setting. As the light changed through the evening, everyone remained outside eating, drinking and celebrating together. These are the moments when Euridge really does feel particularly special. Rather than simply looking out at the gardens from inside a reception space, the landscape becomes part of the wedding itself. A Dress Change & a Brilliant Euridge Manor Party After such an elegant day, Vaitea's evening dress change signalled that it was officially party time. And the dance floor did not disappoint. The energy completely shifted, the dance moves came out and by this point everyone was very much ready to celebrate. I love that contrast within a wedding gallery. You can go from beautiful bridal portraits, an outdoor ceremony overlooking the water and dinner on the lawn to direct flash, movement and complete chaos on the dance floor. It's all part of the same story. And I'm absolutely there for both. Euridge Manor Wedding Photography Photographing Vaitea and Chris's wedding at Euridge Manor was every bit as special as I'd hoped it would be. It's easy to understand why Euridge is considered such an incredible UK wedding venue. There are beautiful photographs everywhere you turn, but what I loved most was how Vaitea and Chris actually used the spaces throughout their celebration. Getting ready within the house. A ceremony overlooking the boathouse. Confetti beneath the roses. Drinks in the sunshine. Portraits beneath the chandelier. Dinner outside on the lawn. And finally, one very full dance floor. It meant their wedding didn't simply take place at Euridge — the venue became part of how the whole day unfolded. And after photographing celebrations across several days, from their legal ceremony in London through to the final party at Euridge, it was such a privilege to tell the complete story for them.
