Flo & Alex - Glemham Hall

On the day of Flo and Alex’s wedding at Glemham Hall in Suffolk, it was a day where every detail seemed to breathe elegance.

Glemham Hall is one of those rare places that feels like stepping into a period drama! Nestled in the Suffolk countryside, its historic charm is a photographer’s dream. From its stately facade framed by beautiful gardens to the warm, wood-paneled interiors, the venue offered a perfect blend of grandeur and intimacy.

Flo’s bridal suite buzzed with excitement. The room was alive with the sound of laughter, the soft clinking of champagne glasses, and the occasional hum of a hairdryer. Flo looked radiant even before she slipped into her gown - a gorgeous, strapless gown that mirrored the elegance of the venue itself. Her bridesmaids wore soft, sage green tones that complemented their venue and decor, perfectly.

Meanwhile, Alex and his groomsmen were also getting ready. It’s in the preparation before the ceremony, that joyful moments unfold, and I find so much storytelling potential - details that may feel small in the moment but hold profound meaning when reflecting on the day overall.

After their church ceremony, Flo and Alex, used the marquee set up on Glemham Hall’s lawns. Tables were adorned with delicate floral arrangements in whites and greens which echoed the natural beauty of the surroundings.

What made Flo and Alex’s wedding so special was the seamless blend of history and modern romance. For me, as a photographer, it was an absolute joy to capture their love in such a stunning setting!

Every wedding tells a unique story, and Flo and Alex’s was one of elegance, warmth, and authenticity. As I packed up my kit that night, I couldn’t help but feel deeply honoured to have been part of their beautiful wedding day.
